- 'shit for brains' is all I can say to that advice. Visual C and MFC
- against delphi?
-
- Please Brian keep using your visual C. There's one thing about
- natural selection: it's vicious but it's very effective.
-
- To the original post:
-
- I had exactly this argument with the chief programmer two years ago.
- 'Change to C or we will all die' he quoth. 'Hold your course steady'
- I replied, 'we are a pascal house by design not by chance or
- fashion'. He left and doubled his salary by working for the competion
- and programmed in C and C++. It was bad. He changed to Visual C++ and
- it got even better (for us anyway, he was sweating). Finally the
- angel of death arrived and carried he friends away. Now he is looking
- for another job (ANY other job at last news, any offers - he's a good
- programmer).
-
- after two years of microsloath brainwashing his verdict:
-
- ------------ DELPHI ROCKS, VISUAL C SUCKS. -----------------
-
- and thats not from me thats from virtual st paul on the the way to damascus.
- (his email address can be supplied to really interested parties)
